O Profeta(1977)

O Profeta follows Daniel, a psychic with the ability to see the past and predict the future. As a child, his visions revealed his brother-in-law João Henrique's infidelity, triggering his sister Ester's separation. Years later, Daniel's powers have intensified, but he exploits them for personal gain rather than helping others. He establishes a lucrative practice, gains television fame as "the Prophet," and accumulates wealth and influence. Yet success breeds coldness in him, transforming the gifted visionary into a self-serving opportunist consumed by ambition and greed.
