Die Zeiten ändern sich is a six-part German series set during the student uprisings of 1967–68, when universities became hotbeds of social change and ideological awakening. Ali Jankowski and his friend Kajott are students in a small provincial town, far from the epicenter of Berlin's most turbulent protests. Yet even in their quieter corner, the spirit of the era proves impossible to ignore. Ali finds himself pulled between academic life and the larger currents of generational rebellion reshaping society. The series captures this pivotal moment when young people began to question authority and reimagine their world, exploring how the upheaval touched even those outside the major cities.
