The A Girl

The A Girl is a middle school comedy-drama about two unlikely friends forced together by a school "Friends Program." Daisy rules the social hierarchy as the Queen Bee, accustomed to flattery and control. Zoe is autistic and fiercely independent, preferring solitude to social games. When paired together, they clash immediately—Daisy can't handle Zoe's brutal honesty, while Zoe resists Daisy's manufactured world. As they're forced to spend time together, both girls discover unexpected common ground beneath their surface differences. The series explores friendship, acceptance, and the messy reality of connecting with someone completely unlike yourself.
