The Scent of Sorrow is a Thai series set in post-World War II Lampang, where a string of brutal murders terrorizes the city. Each victim bears ancient Lanna dharma script carved into their abdomen, and witnesses report hearing a ghostly lullaby sung by the so-called "red sinh ghost" at each crime scene. The only tangible evidence is a red sinh skirt embroidered with dok-sok flowers, once worn by a noblewoman. As investigators piece together the clues, they uncover a mystery rooted in the region's spiritual traditions and a tragic past. The series blends historical mystery with supernatural horror, exploring themes of vengeance and redemption against a richly detailed period backdrop.
