Valsis mūža garumā is a Latvian drama that follows Velta, a woman returning to her homeland after four decades abroad in Germany. She finds herself a stranger in her native country, unable to locate the childhood home that once anchored her identity. Velta's daughter grew up without her mother's presence, separated by tragedy when she was deported to Siberia with her family in 1949.
