Yume Tsukai is a supernatural series about two sisters, Touko and Rinko, who work as dream users tasked with controlling nightmares that bleed into reality. When people's strongest emotions escape the confines of their dreams, they transform into dangerous, uncontrollable entities. Armed with toys as weapons, the sisters must hunt down these nightmares, destroy them, and restore the original dreams to their owners before real-world harm occurs. The show blends action and fantasy as the pair navigate increasingly complex cases, each nightmare reflecting the deep desires and fears of its dreamer. Yume Tsukai explores the thin boundary between the subconscious and waking life through imaginative creature design and inventive combat sequences.
