Squid Girl is a comedy series about a squid-like creature who emerges from the ocean to conquer humanity and avenge marine pollution. After destroying the seaside house she plans to use as her invasion headquarters, she's forced to work there to pay for repairs. Stuck serving the Aizawa sisters who run the establishment, Squid Girl struggles to maintain her villainous ambitions while caught up in their daily routines. Her grand plans for world domination clash constantly with the mundane reality of household chores and genuine human connection. The series balances absurdist humor with surprisingly heartfelt moments as an unlikely friendship develops between the determined invader and her reluctant employers.
