Walker, Texas Ranger follows Cordell Walker, a modern lawman who blends Old West traditions with contemporary crime-solving in Texas. Walker's methods are unconventional, relying on instinct and frontier justice—an approach that frequently clashes with Assistant DA Alex Cahill, despite their mutual attraction. His closest ally is retired Ranger C.D. Parker, who now runs C.D.'s, a country-western saloon that serves as the show's social hub. Rookie Ranger James Trivette, a former football player, represents the opposite philosophy: he favors logic, computers, and technology. Together, this unlikely team navigates cases across Texas, balancing Walker's old-school tactics with Trivette's modern approach while maintaining order in a state as vast and complex as the men who protect it.
