In season one, an all-star crew faces challengers from different cities with just 72 hours to complete their builds; the winning team takes home both their own car and their opponent's vehicle, while losers leave empty-handed. Season two shifts the format, pairing two local restoration teams with 48 hours to overhaul their cars, with the winner earning ownership of their finished build.
