Dangerous(2007)

Dangerous is an Australian drama series that premiered on FOX8 in January 2007, following a Romeo and Juliet narrative across Sydney's divided geography. The story traces forbidden love between characters from the city's affluent eastern suburbs and the gritty street crime world of the west. The series unflinches at youth culture's darker edges—party drugs, underground drag racing, ramraiding—while exploring the cultural diversity that defines the sprawling metropolis. Created by John Edwards and Imogen Banks, with writing from Fiona Seres and Brendan Cowell (Love My Way), Dangerous was directed by David Caesar and Shawn Seet. The show aired internationally on RTÉ One in Ireland and later on The WB's US streaming platform. Fast Crew's hip-hop track "Set The Record Straight" serves as the theme, adapted for Sydney audiences.
