Blessed(2005)

Blessed is a BBC sitcom starring Ardal O'Hanlon as Gary, a harried record producer juggling fatherhood with two young children. Written by Ben Elton, the series aired Friday nights on BBC One from October to December 2005, capturing the chaos and comedy of single parenthood through a warm, character-driven lens. The show opens each episode with "Morningtown Ride," a gentle lullaby performed by the cast band that sets the tone for the domestic mishaps to follow. Despite its charming premise and strong cast, Blessed failed to secure a second series, ending after its initial run.
