Torchwood: Web of Lies(2011)

Torchwood: Web of Lies is a ten-episode companion series set during the events of Torchwood: Miracle Day. When a young man is shot in 2011 Los Angeles but survives—the first sign of the global Miracle Day phenomenon—his sister Holly Mokri discovers he knew the Miracle was coming. She races to uncover what he knew before she becomes the next target. Meanwhile, flashbacks to 2007 reveal Gwen Cooper witnessing Jack Harkness's abduction during a covert operation, followed by mysterious experiments on his life and death. As Holly investigates her brother's knowledge in the present, the series weaves together past and future, exposing how these seemingly separate events connect to the larger conspiracy behind Miracle Day. Two introductory videos introduce the key characters before the main narrative unfolds.
