Der Kaiser von Schexing is a German comedy series following Andreas Kaiser, who returns to his small Bavarian hometown after fifteen years to find the community desperately seeking a new mayor. Municipal officials Nelz and Rosi Specht recruit the inexperienced Andreas, assuming they can easily control him. They quickly discover their mistake. Stubborn like his father, the farmer Ludwig Kaiser, Andreas embraces the role with unexpected determination and unconventional ideas that begin to shake up the village's quiet traditions.
