Asura Cryin' is an anime series following Tomoharu, a high school student perpetually haunted by the ghost of his deceased childhood friend. When he moves into a new house at the start of the school year, his solitary existence unravels. The residence quickly becomes a nexus for female occult practitioners, each drawn to a mysterious trunk hidden within its walls. Tomoharu finds himself thrust into an escalating supernatural conflict as various factions vie to claim the trunk's secrets. Balancing his ghostly companion, the chaos of his unexpected housemates, and the dangerous forces closing in, he must protect the artifact at all costs. The series blends comedy, romance, and action as Tomoharu navigates the collision between his ordinary student life and the extraordinary occult world now consuming his home.
