Galactica 1980 is a science-fiction series set three decades after the original Battlestar Galactica. The ragtag fleet of human survivors finally reaches Earth, only to discover a troubling reality: humanity isn't technologically advanced enough to aid them in their ongoing war against the Cylons. Forced to take matters into their own hands, the Galactica crew must navigate life on a primitive planet while protecting it from the robotic threat that has hunted them across the galaxy. The series explores themes of survival, adaptation, and the clash between advanced alien technology and Earth's unprepared civilization as the fleet grapples with whether to reveal their presence or work in secret to defend their newfound refuge.
