Silver Spoon is an anime series following Yuugo Hachiken, a city boy who enrolls at Ooezo Agricultural High School primarily for its on-campus dormitory. Fleeing the intense pressure of competitive prep schools, Hachiken expects a quieter life—but instead finds himself thrust into an unfamiliar world of livestock, farming, and outdoor labor. Surrounded by students raised on ranches and experienced in agriculture, he struggles to adapt to club activities and physical training that test him in ways he never anticipated. As Hachiken navigates this rural environment far from his urban upbringing, he discovers unexpected friendships and learns valuable lessons about hard work, resilience, and finding his place in a community unlike anything he's known.
