Little Angel Face(2000)

Little Angel Face is a drama series following Dulce María, a sweet five-year-old girl whose world fractures when her mother dies. Her father Luciano, consumed by grief and depression, abandons his daughter to a convent school run by nuns and flees abroad, leaving her in the care of her uncle Gabriel, a priest. Dulce María's only comfort comes from her beloved Aunt Estefanía, who visits her at the convent. The girl affectionately calls her "Aunt Wigs" for the colorful headscarves she wears instead of showing her own hair. As Dulce María navigates life in the convent without her parents, the series explores how a child copes with abandonment, loss, and the fragile bonds that sustain her through loneliness.
