Two Greedy Italians is a BBC cooking series that follows chefs Gennaro Contaldo and Antonio Carluccio as they journey across Italy exploring how the country's food culture and society have transformed over time. The pair travel from region to region, uncovering local dishes, meeting producers, and discovering the stories behind Italy's evolving culinary traditions. The show balances travel documentary with food education, offering viewers an intimate look at authentic Italian cooking and the people who preserve it. First broadcast on BBC Two in May 2011, the series proved popular enough to return for a second run in 2012. An accompanying cookbook was released alongside the television episodes.
