Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends is a comedy anime series about Kodaka Hasegawa, a transfer student whose blond hair and intimidating appearance make classmates assume he's a delinquent. When he discovers Yozora, an equally friendless loner, talking to her imaginary companion, they decide to form a club dedicated to learning how to make real friends. As other lonely misfits join their ranks, the group bonds through cooking, gaming, and shared activities. Yet their collection of socially awkward members constantly clash, raising the question of whether these outcasts can ever truly connect with one another.
