Cumbia Ninja(2013)

Cumbia Ninja is a Colombian series that blends action and magical realism in the sprawling slum of La Colina. Young idealist Hache and his friends take on the drug dealers who rule their neighborhood, armed with an unlikely arsenal: cumbia music, an elderly Chinese ninja master, and a legendary local figure. As they fight to reclaim their community, Juana arrives fleeing her family's assassins, seeking refuge in the same dangerous streets. The show mixes street-level crime drama with fantastical elements, following how music and myth become weapons against systemic violence in a place where survival means defying both cartels and destiny.
