Find Me a Māori Bride(2015)

Find Me a Māori Bride is a comedy series following Tama Bradley and his cousin George Alpert, two successful, metrosexual Māori men whose comfortable lives are disrupted by an unexpected challenge from their late grandmother's will. They have six months to find Māori wives or forfeit their inheritance of the family farm, valued at $47 million. What begins as a straightforward task becomes a comedic journey filled with misadventures as the cousins navigate dating, cultural expectations, and their own priorities. The series balances humour with genuine exploration of identity, family obligation, and what it means to honour whānau traditions while staying true to themselves. Their search for love becomes far more complicated than either anticipated.
