D-Day Sacrifice is a documentary series built entirely from restored and colorized World War II archive footage, much of it unseen until now. It reconstructs the Normandy landings through firsthand accounts of those who experienced them—French civilians, Allied soldiers, and German forces. The series weaves together testimonies from high-ranking figures like Dwight D. Eisenhower and Erwin Rommel alongside ordinary participants: film director Samuel Fuller, Eisenhower's chauffeur Kay Summersby, and anonymous servicemen and citizens. Following events from the invasion's planning through the liberation of Paris, D-Day Sacrifice presents a vivid, human-centered chronicle of one of history's most consequential military operations, grounded in the voices and perspectives of those who lived it.
