Once in power, he refuses the trappings of the presidency, insisting on living modestly and governing with integrity. The series balances satirical humor with genuine political drama as Holoborod'ko navigates the contradictions between his idealistic vision and the entrenched interests of Ukraine's political establishment. His determination to lead simply and honestly creates constant friction with those around him, from his staff to rival politicians.
