Three Leaves, Three Colors(2016)

Three Leaves, Three Colors is a high school comedy series centered on three girls whose names all contain the kanji for "leaf"—and little else in common. Futaba Odagiri is cheerful and perpetually hungry. Teru Hayama presents an angelic facade but rules her class with an iron fist as student council president. Yoko Nishikawa comes from a once-wealthy family now struggling after her father's business collapsed. Despite their contrasting personalities and circumstances, the trio forms an unlikely friendship. The series balances humor with moments of genuine connection as these mismatched characters navigate high school life together, discovering that their differences might be exactly what binds them.
