Tower of Sand(2016)

Tower of Sand is a Japanese psychological thriller series following Takano Aki, a content housewife settling into her family's new apartment with her husband and two children. Her ordinary life unravels when she crosses paths with Sasaki Yumiko, a manipulative neighbour who exploits the pride, vanity and jealousy simmering beneath the building's domestic facades. Yumiko systematically isolates Aki from her community and fractures her marriage through calculated cruelty.
