9JKL is a sitcom following Mark, a newly divorced man who moves back into his childhood apartment building—right between his parents' unit and his brother's family. Desperate for a fresh start, Mark struggles to establish boundaries with his well-meaning but relentlessly intrusive relatives who treat the hallway like their personal living room. The series mines comedy from the claustrophobic reality of adult independence sabotaged by proximity and family obligation. As Mark navigates dating, career ambitions, and basic privacy, his parents and siblings constantly interrupt with unsolicited advice, surprise visits, and boundary violations.
