Crusoe(2008)

Crusoe is an adventure drama series that reimagines Daniel Defoe's classic novel for television. The show aired on NBC during the 2008–2009 season and ran for 13 episodes. Robinson Crusoe has spent six years marooned on a remote island, driven by a desperate need to reunite with his wife and children back home. His only companion is Friday, a native islander whom Crusoe rescued and taught to speak English.
