Hometown(1985)

Hometown is an American dramedy series that aired on CBS from August to October 1985. A direct adaptation of the 1983 film The Big Chill, the show follows a group of college friends now in their thirties as they reunite after years apart and discover how deeply intertwined their adult lives have become. Set against the backdrop of 1980s America, Hometown explores the bonds forged in the 1960s and how those connections shape who they've become. Julie and Dinah Kirgo executive produced the series, with Barnet Kellman directing most episodes. The show was produced by Kingette Productions in association with Paramount Television.
