Musketeers Twenty Years Later is a historical drama series set in turbulent 17th-century France. Cardinal Mazarin, the kingdom's first minister, pressures Queen Anne of Austria to reveal the names of four legendary friends who once aided her against Cardinal Richelieu. When she names D'Artagnan, now a lieutenant of the royal musketeers, Mazarin summons him with a dangerous command: locate his old companions Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, and bring them into the cardinal's service.
