Isekai Izakaya: Japanese Food from Another World is an anime series about Nobuyuki Yazawa, an experienced head chef, and Shinobu Senke, a friendly waitress, who run Nobu, a traditional Japanese izakaya. The restaurant serves authentic Japanese food and drink to all who enter—but there's a twist. One side of Nobu opens to an ordinary Tokyo street, while the other leads to Aitheria, a city in a parallel universe. As word spreads about the restaurant's exceptional dishes, visitors from across Aitheria's various social classes arrive seeking new culinary experiences. Each episode follows the pair as they welcome these otherworldly guests, whose hunger for delicious food is matched only by the fascinating stories they bring with them.
