Run with the Wind(2018)

Run with the Wind is an anime series following Kakeru, a disgraced former high school runner, who is rescued from trouble by Haiji, a charismatic university student and fellow athlete. Haiji invites Kakeru to join him at a shared dormitory called Chikuseisou, where he's assembling an unlikely team for the Hakone Ekiden Marathon—one of Japan's most prestigious university relay races. As Kakeru settles into his new life, he discovers that nearly all his housemates are complete running novices. The series chronicles their journey as they transform from underdogs into serious competitors, exploring themes of redemption, teamwork, and pushing past personal limits in pursuit of a grueling athletic goal.
