Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter is a South Korean fantasy romance series following Sun Ok Nam, a wingless fairy trapped on Earth for nearly seven centuries. After a woodcutter stole her heavenly clothes during the Joseon Dynasty, she married him and bore two children, unable to return home. Now working as a barista in modern-day Seoul, Ok Nam appears as an elderly woman to most—though some glimpse her true youthful form. When two men walk into her café, she becomes convinced one is her husband reincarnated, offering a chance to finally recover her lost wings and ascend to heaven. The series blends magical realism with romantic comedy as Ok Nam navigates her impossible quest across centuries, caught between her celestial destiny and earthly attachments.
