Butterfly(2018)

Butterfly follows 11-year-old Max, who has identified as a girl since childhood. As puberty approaches, her gender dysphoria deepens and her distress grows. Max's father Stephen, who abandoned the family eight years earlier, sees an opportunity to return home and support his daughter through this critical period. The series explores the family's struggle to navigate Max's transition while confronting their own complicated history, examining how love and acceptance intersect with identity and belonging.
