The Hollow Men(2005)
The Hollow Men is a British sketch comedy series that aired on Comedy Central in 2005. Created by and starring David Armand, Nick Tanner, Rupert Russell, and Sam Spedding, the show delivers absurdist humor in the tradition of Monty Python's Flying Circus and The Kids in the Hall. The first season comprises six episodes of rapid-fire sketches and surreal comedy bits. The group takes its name from T.S. Eliot's bleak modernist poem. Though the television run was brief, The Hollow Men found greater success on BBC Radio 4, where they launched a sketch show in 2006 with comedian Katy Brand. The radio series proved popular enough to warrant a second run in 2007, extending the group's reach beyond their cult American television following.
