Perfect World(2019)

Perfect World is a Japanese drama series that reunites Tsugumi, an interior designer, with Itsuki, her first love from high school, at a corporate dinner. Now a successful architect, Itsuki appears charming and accomplished—until he quietly leaves the event and wheels away in his chair. Years earlier, a college accident left him unable to walk. Tsugumi's initial instinct is to pull away, convinced she cannot love someone with a disability. But as she begins to know Itsuki again, witnessing his daily struggles and determination, she confronts the prejudices she's held and rediscovers feelings she thought long buried. The series explores whether love can overcome doubt, and what it truly means to accept another person.
