Dying Eye(2019)

Dying Eye is a Japanese psychological thriller that follows Amemura Shinsuke, a Tokyo bartender whose life unravels after a violent attack leaves him with fragmented memories. He discovers he caused a woman's death in a traffic accident eighteen months earlier—and that her grieving husband attacked him before taking his own life. As those around him discourage him from dwelling on the past, Shinsuke grows suspicious of the official account. His descent into doubt deepens when Ruriko, a hauntingly beautiful woman in mourning, appears at his bar one rainy night. From that moment, reality begins to slip away. Shinsuke spirals into madness and torment, unable to determine whether Ruriko is real or a phantom born from his guilt. The series explores memory, culpability, and the fragile boundary between truth and delusion.
