Blade of the Immortal(2019)

Blade of the Immortal is a dark samurai series following Manji, a brutal warrior cursed with immortality by the nun Yobikuni as punishment for his violent past. Unable to die, Manji has grown exhausted by his endless existence and seeks a way to break the curse: he must slay 1,000 evil men. Wandering through feudal Japan, Manji cuts through the wicked in pursuit of a death that may finally be within reach. The series blends visceral action with existential despair, exploring what it means to be trapped in a life you no longer want to live.
