Agries Melisses(2019)

Agries Melisses is a Greek series that follows three sisters—Eleni, Asimina, and Froso—whose father planted a poplar tree for each daughter's birth as a symbol of their futures. A swarm of wild bees nested in Eleni's tree, and her father promised she would find happiness as sweet as honey. Years later, Eleni questions whether life will deliver on that childhood prophecy, wrestling with doubt as she contemplates her own destiny. The series explores the lives of these sisters against the backdrop of their family orchard, weaving together themes of hope, disappointment, and the gap between a parent's dreams and harsh reality. As the women mature, they must navigate their own paths while haunted by the poetic promises made in their youth.
