Dancougar – Super Beast Machine God is a super robot anime series that aired for 38 episodes from April to December 1985. Produced by Ashi Productions, the show was cut short before reaching its planned 52-episode run, yet it gained enough traction to spawn multiple OVAs. The 1986 OVA Requiem for Victims provided both a recap and a newly-animated conclusion to the original story. Fans could also explore the 1987 sequel God Bless Dancouga and the four-part Blazing Epilogue series from 1989. Though the television run ended abruptly, Dancougar's legacy extended well beyond its initial broadcast through these expanded continuations.
