Corazón salvaje(1977)
Corazón salvaje is a Mexican telenovela that aired on Televisa in 1977. The series is the fourth screen adaptation of Caridad Bravo Adams's novel of the same name, and the second telenovela version. Singer Angélica María stars as the lead, reprising a role she played in the 1968 film adaptation. Producer Ernesto Alonso helmed this production, which notably excluded singer Julissa, who had starred in the first telenovela version. The casting choice sparked controversy, with Julissa later suggesting that Alonso had overlooked her because her father no longer worked at the company. The telenovela captures the passionate drama and romantic tension characteristic of the era's most beloved Mexican television productions.
