Dirty Pair(1985)

Dirty Pair is an anime series following Kei and Yuri, two teenage intergalactic private investigators for the Trouble Consultant agency. Operating under the official code name "Lovely Angels," the duo has earned a far less flattering reputation across the galaxy: the "Dirty Pair." They consistently solve their cases, but destruction follows in their wake—sometimes entire planets don't survive their interventions. Despite the catastrophic collateral damage, extenuating circumstances often vindicate them, allowing them to insist, "It's not our fault." The series blends sci-fi adventure with comedy, chronicling their chaotic missions as they navigate the cosmos leaving a trail of chaos and resolution in equal measure.
