ēlDLIVE is a sci-fi anime series following Chuuta Kokonose, an orphan plagued by a mysterious voice in his head. His ordinary life shatters when a strange creature drags him to a space police station orbiting the solar system. The commanding officer, Rein Brickke, informs Chuuta that the station's computer has selected him as a recruit candidate—much to the dismay of Misuzu Sonokata, a sharp-tongued classmate who serves as Brickke's subordinate. Skeptical of Chuuta's potential, Misuzu becomes his unlikely rival. Driven by the cryptic voice urging him forward and determined to prove himself, Chuuta accepts the challenge of the police academy's aptitude test. As he navigates training alongside alien officers and fellow cadets, he must uncover the truth behind the voice and his mysterious selection.
