Holocaust is a historical drama series set in Berlin, 1935, following the Weiss family as they navigate the rise of Nazi Germany. The narrative centers on Karl Weiss, a Jewish painter, and his Christian wife Inga, whose marriage marks the beginning of their family's descent into unimaginable tragedy. As the regime tightens its grip and World War II erupts, the Weiss family faces persecution and the horrors of the Holocaust. Parallel to their story, ambitious lawyer Erik Dorf becomes entangled with Nazi leadership, particularly the ruthless Reinhard Heydrich, and experiences his own moral corruption.
