Jotei(2007)

Jotei follows Tachibana Ayaka, a young woman whose life spirals after losing her boyfriend and watching her mother fall gravely ill. Desperate and driven by revenge, she enters the Osaka nightlife as a hostess, determined to claw her way to the top and become the "empress" of the scene. Along the way, she forms an unlikely alliance with a member of the underworld who sees potential in her ruthless ambition. As Ayaka navigates the glittering but cutthroat world of hostess clubs, she discovers that power comes at a price.
