Our Own(2025)

Our Own is a documentary series following a group of Ukrainian SUV enthusiasts who became unlikely heroes during the 2022 siege of Mariupol. When humanitarian corridors were blocked and thousands of civilians became trapped in the surrounding "gray zone," members of a Donetsk off-road club risked their lives to evacuate people using their vehicles and expert driving skills. Led by Nikolai Solovyov, a native of Mariupol, these ordinary volunteers navigated treacherous terrain to reach isolated villages and transport families to safety. The series captures their determination to help their community survive an impossible situation, revealing how ordinary people found extraordinary courage when faced with humanitarian crisis.
