Ozma(2012)

Ozma is a 2012 Japanese anime series set on a desert-covered Earth ravaged by solar catastrophe. Based on an unused 1980 script by manga legend Leiji Matsumoto, the story follows Sam as he pursues Ozma, his brother's sworn enemy. When Sam crosses paths with Maya, a fugitive hunted by the military forces of the Theseus, their fates become entangled in a conflict that spans the wasteland. The series blends science fiction worldbuilding with personal vendetta, exploring themes of loyalty and survival in a transformed world where sand has swallowed civilization.
