Ciranda de Pedra(2008)

Ciranda de Pedra is a Brazilian drama series set in 1950s São Paulo that explores the emotional wreckage of a love triangle. Laura, a fragile and troubled woman married to the controlling, ambitious Natércio, falls in love with Dr. Daniel, her psychiatrist. Their affair produces a daughter, Virginia, whom Laura raises with Daniel while maintaining her marriage and two other children with Natércio. The couple's elegant life in the affluent Jardim Europa neighborhood masks deep jealousy and resentment. Complicating matters further, the family's housekeeper Frau Herta harbors secret feelings for Natércio and actively works to sabotage Laura. As tensions mount within the Silva Prado mansion, the series examines how desire, duty, and class collide in post-war Brazil, where appearances matter more than truth.
