The Crouches(2003)

The Crouches is a British sitcom that aired on BBC One from 2003 to 2005, starring Rudolph Walker as Roly, a London Underground station assistant at Lambeth North. Roly and his childhood sweetheart Natalie have been married eighteen years, navigating married life alongside their best friends Ed and Bailey, who also work at the station. While Roly enjoys the camaraderie of his mates, Natalie—who once pursued a rap career as half of the duo "Bun and Cheese" with her friend Lindy—now manages a discount store and yearns for greater sophistication. The ensemble cast includes Robbie Gee, Jo Martin, Don Warrington, and Danny John-Jules. Despite moderate ratings of around three million viewers, the show failed to find critical favour and was cancelled after two series.
