Unbreakable Machine-Doll is an anime series set in an alternate early 20th century where magic and science merge to create Makinot—enchanted circuits that animate objects and grant them consciousness. These magical constructs were originally developed as military weapons and now define global society. Raishin Akabane enrolls at the Royal Academy determined to become the world's greatest puppeteer, accompanied by Yaya, his sentient doll weapon. Despite exceptional combat ability and unwavering resolve, Raishin struggles academically and ranks near the bottom of his class. To claim the title of king among his peers, he must face off against the academy's most formidable competitors in brutal magical duels. The series blends steampunk aesthetics with fantasy combat as Raishin fights to prove that heart and skill matter more than raw talent.
